I have known them since ~ approx. 1974 ! I'm 57 yrs. ' young ' now. I was ~ 21 yrs. then....when i met them ! I knew Elect Gold { Agnes Carlson }, Elect Silver, Elect Star, and many, many of the Elects threw the yrs..... Most were kind, individually peculiar in a good way, and hard working. Each one certainly was special & individualistic in their personal 'Calling ' there. I made friends w / several of them all through these yrs....... I have not been back there since ~ Oct. 2010. I had differing ' opinions ', etc., concerning their belief system(s)...and....I was ' influenced ' by ' revelations ' and ' historical ' info. told to me by one of their former members. She is a daughter of Elect Silver [deceased}, one of the original ' founding ' members....Elect Star & Elect David ? & Elect Philip ? ' kicked off ' the property this individual woman, now ~ 74 yrs. old, who(m) had lived there on the property, many, many yrs. in her own trailers. Elect Star and ?...Elect David ?...and Elect Philip ? had ' agreed '...by Revelation from GOD ?....that this woman wasn't living the more ' strict ' life they do. They said they can't have " 2 " ways-of-life there.....yet, they have allowed Shirley and Charlie [ both of who(m) do not wear the linen ' Holy attire ', etc.] to continue living there for years now, as resident-helper-visitors.......Elect Star said Shirley and Charlie try to live the 'Elect ' Way-of-life....yet Shirley & Charlie haven't made a " full commitment " to ' become an Elect '.......Elect Gold {deceased} had said years ago...that Jesus Christ ' Revealed ' ?....that visitors are welcome...but.... only those who(m) made-make a full commitment, wearing linen ' uniform ', etc.,....can live there permanently. They are special to me & I pray for all of them. I miss all of them @ times, and....I miss the peace and tranquility, the healthy diet, the beautiful desert, and the special way-of-life there. They are certainly, to me, a " peculiar people "....as the Bible says ?! It's really great-wonderful-peculiar to hear-read others who(m) knew them or presently still know them !
